The recent Kent RUS document proposes cutting the service
to Cannon St altogether from 2015. Amber collected over 150
signatories to the petition objecting to cuts and send it
with her letter to Network Rail. Now she has written to the
Chief Executive of Network Rail asking for a meeting in Hastings
to stress the importance of our rail links to Cannon St.
“I am setting up a website to capture opposition to the changes
– more details will follow!” said Amber.

Successful Conservative Summer Fete
Like
many local Conservatives Amber enjoyed a day out at Markwick
Gardens for the annual Conservative Summer Fete. Despite gale
force winds at the start of the day, the event was a success,
and a good fund-raiser for the campaign ahead.
