Last week, Amber visited her local Hastings sorting office in the run up to Christmas.
The Post Office welcomes MPs to visit their local sorting office to support the staff who work especially hard over the Christmas period. With this in mind, Amber visited her local sorting office on Braybrooke Road.
“I was delighted to receive such a warm welcome at the Hastings Post Office and to see first hand all of the hard work which goes into ensuring that all of our cards and packages reach the right place. Their dedication is of the utmost importance – particularly in ensuring that what we send reaches our loved ones in time for Christmas.
“I hope that the mince pies I gave are enjoyed by these people who are working so hard to ensure that we all have a lovely Christmas – they certainly seemed well received!”
