On Monday the Education Secretary, Justine Greening, announced an additional investment into schools in England of £1.3billion to support the transition to a new fairer national funding formula due in April 2018.

School Ambassadors meet local MP

Hastings support charity, Education Futures Trust, took Learning Ambassadors from 6 schools to visit the Houses of Parliament in London on Wednesday 12th July.

St Leonards Post Office Consultation

A consultation is now open on proposed changes to The Post Office in St Leonards.

Under the proposal, the Crown Post Office would be refurbished and a newsagent selling stationery, confectionery and tobacco would be incorporated into the existing premises.

A brighter future for local fishermen
