Last Friday, Amber Rudd, the MP for Hastings and Rye visited the 1066 Café and Bakery at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings to officially open it after weeks of renovations.

Hastings & Rye MP Amber Rudd dropped into a Christmas tree festival in All Saints’ church in Hastings Old Town on Saturday (17th December).

The event was held to help raise funds for the Two Towers Trust, the charity which supports the two mediaeval churches in the Old Town.

At the third meeting of the High Speed Rail Working Group, Amber Rudd MP and Huw Merriman MP heard how Network Rail will present options in the New Year to reduce journey times between London St Pancras and Rye, Hastings and Bexhill by nearly 40 minutes.
