More local women in Hastings should start a business, Amber Rudd told a Make It Your Business seminar in Hastings.

Make It Your Business is an initiative set up to inspire and encourage more women to start their own business.

A local school has been awarded a prestigious award for their approach to mental health and wellbeing.

The Baird Primary Academy was  awarded nurtureuk’s Marjorie Boxall Quality Mark Award for their whole-school nurturing approach.

At the end of last month, Amber Rudd MP attended the Hastings Holocaust Memorial Service at St Mary in the Castle and delivered remarks as the event’s main speaker. The service, which was organised by Dr Shelley Katz saw the community come together in remembrance of the victims of genocide.
