Transport Secretary Chris Grayling has announced £2 million to improve transport and connectivity in the South East of England. The funding has been awarded to local regions to create transport strategies to improve connectivity and drive economic growth.
This Monday, the Rt Hon Amber Rudd, Member of Parliament for Hastings and Rye asked Home Secretary Rt Hon Sajid Javid to ensure the private sector does not suffer from increased pressure on the tier 2 visa cap and can still access the same level of highly skilled and experienced workers.
Amber Rudd MP visited Crest House Care Home on Friday 25 May, and met with Mr Ilker Djavit, the proprietor, the staff and some of the residents. Mr Djavit invited Amber after hearing about her Seniors Fairs in Hastings and Rye.
