Employment is high on the MP’s agenda

Last Friday, the MP for Hastings and Rye, Amber Rudd, visited PeoplePlus. Amber was greeted by Becci Brokenshire, Business Manager for Hastings, Brighton, Eastbourne and Worthing, and was invited to speak with their customers and receive first-hand knowledge of how PeoplePlus enable local residents to gain and remain in employment.

PeoplePlus are a leading employment support and training services company who assist people in transforming their lives through education, training, work and financial advice. Becci and her team help to fulfil the potential of each customer by tailoring the experience that they receive, and by offering specific qualifications that will help them into long-term employment.

Amber commented:

“Every time that I visit PeoplePlus, I am astonished by the dedication and support that is provided by Becci and her team. It is right that once a customer starts employment they are continually provided with the support and assistance that enables them to thrive, and I am pleased that this is of paramount importance to PeoplePlus.

“Well done to Becci and her team on the employment successes that we see here in Hastings and our local communities. I look forward to visiting again in the future.”

Amber observed different activities that were taking place to engage customers into thinking about what job opportunities are available to them.

Becci Brokenshire commented:
“The whole team at PeoplePlus Hastings work extremely hard to support those on the Work Programme back into sustainable, enjoyable employment. We thrive on meeting and inspiring our candidates to improve their lives through employment and training.”
