What the Summer Budget means for you and Hastings and Rye?

This afternoon the Chancellor delivered his 2015 Summer Budget. It was a bold budget for working people with commitments to; cutting taxes to ensure you keep more of what you earn, keeping the nation’s finances under control, ensuring national debt is falling, supporting our defences and boosting our productivity.

Amber determined to improve road safety in Winchelsea

Amber Rudd, MP for Hastings and Rye, met with Richard Comotto and Sarah Andrews of Winchelsea to listen to their concerns following two recent accidents on the section of the A259(T) called Tanyard Lane.

Amber Rudd opens fete in support of our local hospital

Local MP, Amber Rudd, opened the Fete at Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday 13th June. It was a tremendous success with up to 1,000 visitors, supporting their local community hospital.
